Hypnosis Services Disclosure
Lily Ardizzone is a certified hypnotherapist, not a licensed healthcare professional in the United States. She is not licensed to practice psychology in the United States and does not represent herself as a licensed psychologist or other licensed practitioner of the healing arts.
She holds certifications as a Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, and Certified Interpersonal Hypnotherapist, following training at the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy. The Institute is a school licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, License 3448.
Florida Statutes 485.004, When practice of hypnosis prohibited, states:
“It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the practice of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes unless such person is a practitioner of one of the healing arts, as herein defined, or acts under the supervision, direction, prescription, and responsibility of such a person.”
As Lily Ardizzone is not licensed in Florida as a practitioner of the healing arts, hypnosis for therapeutic purposes is offered only upon referral from an appropriately licensed practitioner of the healing arts and under that practitioner’s supervision, direction, prescription, and responsibility.
The referring practitioner must act within the scope of their professional training, competence, and license and determine that Lily Ardizzone is qualified by training and experience to provide the intended hypnotic techniques. The referral and required professional oversight must be established before therapeutic sessions begin, with hypnosis limited to the specific goals addressed through that referral and direction.
Lily Ardizzone does not diagnose medical, dental, or mental health conditions, prescribe medication, provide dental treatment, or conduct psychotherapy. These services do not include directly treating or curing diseases and do not replace medical, dental, or mental healthcare from an appropriately licensed professional.
Florida Statutes 491.0141 recognizes hypnosis for nontherapeutic purposes, provided the person does not represent herself or himself as possessing a license issued under Chapter 491 or use a title protected by that chapter.
Hypnosis for nontherapeutic purposes supports confidence, motivation, focus, creativity, and success in your chosen goals. These sessions provide space to explore limiting beliefs, strengthen beneficial habits, and make choices that help you move toward what matters most and live the life you envision. They are not intended to diagnose or treat illness, injury, or medical, dental, or mental health conditions.
